TERMS OF SERVICE

Site access, clearly defined.

Effective 29 October 2026

The important point: the £15 monthly subscription purchases access to the DJ Compilations website and its software features. It does not purchase music and does not grant ownership, copyright, performance, reproduction, distribution or any other music rights.

1. Who operates the service

DJ Compilations is a UK-based service operated under the Ascer Studio name. Contact: djcompilations@ascerstudio.com.

2. Applying for an account

Applicants must provide accurate account information and be at least 18 years old. We manually review requests and may use the DJ or social-media profiles supplied with the request to check that the applicant is a genuine DJ or music professional. Approval is not automatic. No payment is taken while an application is pending.

3. What the subscription provides

An active subscription provides one approved account with access to the site’s catalogue, search, collection, playlist, radio, pack, account and related software features then available. Access is personal and account credentials must not be shared.

The site may connect an approved account to a separately authorised FTP profile. That connection is an account configuration feature, not a sale or supply of recordings by DJ Compilations. Availability of any track depends on the separate source, its operator and the permissions attached to that FTP account.

4. Third-party music and your responsibilities

DJ Compilations claims no ownership of third-party recordings, artwork or other rights-holder material. Nothing in the subscription transfers or grants a licence to copy, distribute, perform, communicate, broadcast or otherwise use music.

You must hold every permission, subscription and licence required for your access to the separate music source and for the way you download, store, perform or use a recording. You must comply with the FTP provider’s terms and all applicable copyright and licensing rules. You must not use the site to share credentials, redistribute music or provide unauthorised access to another person.

5. Price, payment and renewal

The standard plan is £15 per month, charged by Stripe. The price and billing interval are shown again at checkout. The subscription renews monthly until cancelled. Card details are entered directly with Stripe and are not stored by DJ Compilations. Any promotional price or different plan shown at checkout will apply instead of the standard price.

6. Cancellation and cooling-off rights

You can cancel at any time from Account & FTP → Renew / extend → Manage payment. Ordinary cancellation stops the next renewal and access continues until the end of the paid billing period, unless the law requires a different result.

If you are a UK consumer, you may also have a statutory 14-day right to cancel an online service contract. To exercise it, email a clear cancellation request to djcompilations@ascerstudio.com within 14 days after entering the subscription. We will acknowledge the request. These terms do not restrict statutory cancellation rights.

7. Refunds

Where a valid statutory cooling-off or consumer remedy applies, an eligible refund will be made without undue delay and normally within 14 days after entitlement is agreed, using the original payment method unless another method is expressly agreed. We do not charge a refund fee.

After any applicable cooling-off period, payments are normally non-refundable for a billing period that has been supplied. This does not affect rights relating to a service that is not provided with reasonable care and skill, is materially unavailable, is misdescribed, or where a refund is otherwise required by law. Contact us if the service has failed and we will investigate before deciding the appropriate repair, extension, price reduction or refund.

8. Fair use and suspension

Reasonable technical limits may apply to caching, traffic, downloads and automated requests so that the service remains available to all users and stays within provider limits. We may pause or disable an account to protect the service, investigate misuse, comply with law or enforce these terms. Where reasonably possible, we will explain the reason and provide a route to contact us. Suspending an account does not remove statutory payment or refund rights.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the site available, but internet, Cloudflare, Stripe, email, FTP and other third-party services can fail or change. Catalogue coverage and track availability are not guaranteed. We may improve, replace or withdraw features. If a material paid feature is removed, we will provide reasonable notice where practical and consider any remedy required by law.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or a consumer’s statutory rights. Subject to that, we are not responsible for unauthorised use of music, loss caused by breach of a third-party provider’s terms, or indirect commercial loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the subscription began.

11. Ending an account

You may request account deletion by email. We may end access for a serious or repeated breach, unlawful activity, credential sharing, attempted circumvention of limits or non-payment. Records that must be retained for tax, payment, fraud prevention or legal claims may be kept for the relevant period, as explained in the Privacy notice.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. A consumer may also benefit from mandatory protections and bring proceedings in the part of the United Kingdom where they live.
